Your position

Our municipal vehicles are becoming electric – and with them, the demands on service are growing. For the establishment of our own repair centre for high-voltage batteries in Niederweningen, we are looking for an experienced professional who safely diagnoses, repairs and recommissions HV battery systems both in the field and in the workshop. You are the central point of contact between customers, service partners and our development team.

Your tasks

• Technical support (1st/2nd level) for faults in HV battery systems in the field – remotely and on site
• Fault analysis and diagnosis (BMS, CAN bus, insulation measurement) as well as repair at the customer’s site in Switzerland and abroad or in our workshop
• Planning of repairs including procurement of spare parts, materials and tools
• Commissioning and parameterisation of repaired battery systems with functional and insulation testing
• Active involvement in the establishment of the HV repair centre in Niederweningen
• Preparation of repair reports, risk assessments and safety instructions
• Root cause analysis of field failures and structured feedback to development, quality and suppliers
• Training and support of local service personnel and our service partners

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training (EFZ or equivalent) as an automotive mechatronics technician, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic, electrician, electrical installer or electronics technician
• High-voltage qualification (HV2, ideally HV3) or further training as an electrical specialist
• Several years of experience in diagnosis and repair of high-voltage batteries, ideally in commercial vehicles or mobile work machines
• Knowledge of Li-ion cell technology, BMS and CAN diagnosis (e.g. PCAN, CANalyzer); hazardous materials knowledge (ADR/SDR) is an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent German, good English skills; French or Italian is a plus
• Willingness to travel for customer assignments at home and abroad, driving licence category B
• Independent, structured and safety-conscious working style with customer-oriented manner
