EMR Technician / Automation Technician (m/f/d) | Visp, Switzerland

As an EMR Technician / Automation Technician (m/f/d) at our site in Visp, you will play a central role in the safe and reliable operation of our production facilities. You ensure that our electrical, measurement, and control systems function efficiently, identify optimisation potentials, and actively contribute to continuous improvement. In a technically demanding environment, you can expect varied tasks, a high degree of personal responsibility, and the opportunity to develop and implement sustainable solutions together with committed colleagues. Main Tasks

• Professional commissioning of EMR installations for new plants, conversions, expansions, and maintenance projects
• Carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair work on technically demanding systems
• Independent analysis and troubleshooting to ensure high system availability
• Planning, coordination, and alignment of workflows with internal customers and external partners
• Participation in the continuous optimisation of systems, processes, and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong safety awareness and active contribution to promoting a strong safety culture
• Completed training as an electrical installer EFZ, automation technician EFZ, or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience in electrical, measurement, control, and regulation technology is an advantage
• Good knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge is desirable
• High service orientation and a pronounced quality awareness
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written
