For the Commercial Vocational and Continuing Education Center St.Gallen, we are looking for a
Head of HR (with Deputy Function of Head of Administration and Head of Quality Management) m/f/d
Starting January 1, 2026 (or by arrangement)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- Leadership of the HR department and payroll accounting with personnel responsibility in these areas
- Management of the ISO 21001 quality management system as Head of Quality at GBS St.Gallen
- Responsible for the training of in-house commercial apprentices EFZ and Digital Business Developer EFZ as a trainer at GBS St.Gallen
- Deputy function of the Head of Administration
- Coordination and supervision of the payroll of GBS St.Gallen with 800 employees and HR contact person for all employees
- Conceptual and organizational responsibility over all HR and Q processes
- Administrative HR and payroll-related activities as well as administrative responsibility for NESA (New School Administration Software)
What distinguishes you
- Solid education and training (tertiary) in HR, payroll administration, and administration (Bachelor or equivalent qualification, payroll with federal diploma)
- Experience in leading administrative and administrative units
- Experience as a trainer and/or willingness to complete training as a trainer
- Enjoyment in contact with people and organizational challenges
- Proven knowledge of Office programs Word, Excel, and O365 as well as administration-specific software (SAP)
- High service orientation and quality awareness
- Independent working style and good communication skills
