The House of Economy in Pratteln is a modern and representative meeting place for business, politics and society with a high standard of quality, infrastructure and service.

For our Facility Management, we are looking for a technically skilled, communicative and service-oriented leader with a pronounced hands-on mentality. In this versatile role, you will combine leading a small team and managing external partners with active participation in the operational building management. With technical expertise, organisational talent and a high awareness of quality, you ensure smooth operations and first-class service for our customers, guests and employees.

Your tasks

• Professional, personnel and organisational leadership of a team of three employees as well as management of an external outsourcing partner
• Ensuring the smooth operation of all buildings, systems and infrastructures with a share of active, operational participation (around 50%)
• Planning, coordinating and actively participating in cleaning, maintenance work as well as conversions and setups and the technical provision of the conference and event centre
• Responsibility for maintenance, repair and preservation of the technical equipment as well as the furniture
• Responsibility for building automation, access control, security and fire protection systems as well as HVACSE systems
• Ensuring first-class facility management service in the representative and demanding environment of the House of Economy
• Obtaining quotes, awarding and controlling services of external partners and suppliers as well as responsibility for inventory management, budgeting, cost control and economic management of facility management
• Responsibility for the continuous optimisation and digitalisation of operational processes including modern technologies, smart building solutions and AI applications

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training, ideally as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ, alternatively as an electrician, automation technician, building technician, HVAC specialist or comparable
• Further training preferably at a caretaker school (e.g. WBZ Lenzburg), alternatively in facility management, building management or maintenance management
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in facility management, building operations or technical maintenance
• Sound knowledge in the areas of building automation, building technology, HVACSE, safety and fire protection
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as high service and customer orientation
• Strong communication skills, confident appearance and enjoyment in dealing with demanding customers, guests and partners
• Pronounced hands-on mentality, technical skill and enjoyment in actively getting involved operationally alongside leadership responsibilities
• High affinity for digitalisation, process optimisation, building automation as well as the use of modern technologies and AI solutions
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
