The General Secretariat of the Department of the Interior ensures the management of the thematically diverse department and includes services in the areas of law, finance, IT, personnel, communication, and planning. It fulfils essential cross-sectional functions for the entire department.

What to expect
- Financial management with foresight: You take co-responsibility for the financial processes of a thematically diverse department with a volume of around 1 billion Swiss francs, thus ensuring stable resource management.
- Sparring partner for management: You advise the department management and other executives competently and confidentially on all financial matters.
- Creating decision-making bases: You provide precise budget and forecast reports as well as well-founded analyses that serve as a reliable basis for our executives' decisions.
- Process optimisation and ICS: You question existing procedures and sustainably improve the quality of our Internal Control System (ICS).
- Interface between politics & specialist area: You translate political directives and operational needs into precise financial control metrics and coordinate the interplay of both worlds.
- Broad fields of design: You contribute to further departmental cross-sectional processes and apply your expertise specifically in real estate and political controlling.
- Shaper of the digital future: You bring your expertise into strategic projects and actively shape the digital and financial transformation of the administration.

- Qualification: A higher professional qualification in finance and accounting as well as extensive experience in controlling, accounting, and ICS.
