For the 2026 intake, the Cleanliness and Hygiene Service team of the Operations Department is looking for their future Waste Recycler apprentices CFC. 

Job Description

The Roadway Sector is responsible for collecting, transporting, packaging, and disposing of all types of waste produced within the hospital. The sector ensures compliance with both federal and cantonal laws and directives, as well as environmental protection. The main objectives are to review and optimise the waste circuit within the HUG context.

Under the guidance of professionals, you contribute to the collection and sensible sorting of all the institution's waste (6,000 tonnes per year), respecting institutional and legislative directives.

You will be required to communicate and inform users about proper sorting practices to help turn our waste into a resource.

Qualifications

You have successfully completed your compulsory schooling and are seeking an apprenticeship as a waste recycler.

Your interpersonal skills facilitate teamwork.

Thanks to your technical sense, methodical mind, and physical endurance, you ensure an appropriate service.

You express a strong interest in ecology and environmental sectors.

You are attracted to the hospital environment and are ready to commit to a professional training alternating between work in a company, practical courses, and theoretical lessons at school?
