We support our client, an established and regionally anchored company in the healthcare sector, in the search for an experienced individual for the finance department. In this fixed-term role, you will take on a central role in the annual financial statement process and ensure that the required closing tasks and documentation are completed on time and with high quality.
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a reliable, analytical and committed individual immediately on a fixed-term basis until February 2027 as
Finance Expert 100% (m/f) Fixed-Term Until February 2027, Zurich North
Your tasks:
- Operational responsibility for the annual financial statement process in close collaboration with the head and deputy head of financial accounting
- Processing and clearing of outstanding items from the management letter for the interim financial statement
- Definition and implementation of the closing process based on the existing task list
- Complete and comprehensible reconciliation of all inventory and balance sheet accounts
- Restart of the internal control system (ICS) focusing on the 20 most important controls
- Ensuring complete, structured and comprehensible documentation of all relevant closing tasks
Your profile:
- Further training as an expert in accounting and controlling, professional certificate in finance and accounting or comparable qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Applied Sciences) with many years of relevant professional experience
- Solid practical experience in financial accounting, annual financial statements and account reconciliation
- Highly independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Ability to implement operational tasks efficiently and pragmatically as well as to set priorities confidently
- High reliability and quality awareness as well as careful and punctual working methods
- Knowledge of the software OPALE is an advantage
