The Tax Competence Area is responsible for handling the tax matters of natural persons as well as the inventory work necessary in cases of death.
Due to retirement, we are looking for you as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as

Your tasks
- Independently handling the daily tasks in the area of inventory, inheritance and gift taxes
- Providing information to heirs, executors and taxpayers by phone and in personal meetings.
- Determining the legal heirs and preparing heir lists including all necessary activities (e.g. applications to the district court)
- Timely conducting inventory recordings (also outside the office where necessary)
- Assuming a special duty of care for minor heirs
- Preparing regular tax inventories including inheritance tax assessments
- Ordering public inventories, sealing and similar measures
- Conducting controls over death and tax cases (inheritance and gift taxes) in the municipality
- Independently carrying out all valuation work for employees and self-employed persons (scope depending on agreed workload)
Your profile
- Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent training as well as several years of professional experience in a similar position
- Sound knowledge of Swiss inheritance and matrimonial property law as well as cantonal and federal tax law (e.g. Certificate course in Public Administration / Tax Specialist Competence Level II or other higher diploma)
- Strong IT experience
- Mature personality with life experience
- Quick comprehension, efficient and independent working style
- Good manners and very good oral and written communication skills
- Negotiation skills, enjoyment of lively customer contact and a strong sense of justice
