Your tasks
- Technical review of sold projects together with project management – identifying optimization potentials (costs, feasibility, quality)
- Detail engineering and technical specification of the main segments, cooling, ventilation, sound insulation, fuel systems, exhaust systems
- Creation of technical specifications for suppliers
- Technically evaluate supplier alternatives and identify more cost-effective solutions
- Close interface to sales in complex projects – participation in the bidding phase
- Support project management in technical questions during execution
- Standardization of technical solutions, development of modular system approaches
- Establishment and maintenance of technical databases and templates
Your profile
- Completed engineering degree (mechanical engineering, process engineering, building services engineering, energy engineering, or similar)
- At least 8 years of experience in technical project engineering or plant construction
- Deep expertise in at least three of the following areas: combustion engines · cooling · ventilation · sound insulation · fuel systems · exhaust systems
- Ability to technically and economically evaluate solutions
- Experience in developing technical templates and tools
- Knowledge in programming for automating technical calculation and evaluation tools (e.g., VBA, Python) is desirable
- Assertive but cooperative – can define standards and motivate implementation
- Proactive type with enthusiasm for technical details and the motivation to critically question existing solutions
- Brings in own solutions and builds new structures
