Your tasks – responsibility with scope for design

• Strategically further develop logistics and shape the future:
  You consistently develop the logistics organisation and align it with future requirements.
  You optimise processes, structures, facilities, and systems along the entire logistics chain.
  You actively drive digitalisation, automation, and optimisation projects.
  You identify improvement potentials and implement them with strong execution.
  You develop key figures and control instruments for continuous and sustainable performance improvement.
• Ensure operational excellence:
  You ensure an efficient, flexible, and reliable logistics operation.
  You are responsible for goods receipt, warehouse management, intra-logistics and material handling, transport, shipping, as well as customs and export matters.
  You ensure optimal collaboration between logistics, production, purchasing, sales, and other interfaces.
  You ensure high delivery performance, process reliability, and economical operations.
  You manage the area based on relevant key figures and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and compliance requirements. In addition to the entire logistics at the site, you are also responsible for cross-site interfaces and actively contribute to group-wide logistics efficiency.
• Lead people and further develop the organisation: You lead and develop your team purposefully. You promote a culture of collaboration, personal responsibility, and continuous improvement. You actively accompany changes and create acceptance for new ways and solutions. You are a sparring partner for management, leaders, and employees on logistical issues.

Your profile – what is particularly important for this role

• Strategic and entrepreneurial competence:
  Several years of leadership experience in a comparable logistics or supply chain function in a manufacturing industrial company.
  Proven success in developing organisations, processes, and structures.
  Experience with digitalisation including AI, ERP systems, automation, and change projects.
  Ability to combine operational challenges with strategic foresight.
• Professional logistics competence:
  Sound knowledge in warehouse logistics, material flow, intralogistics, transport, and shipping.
  Experience in managing complex logistical processes.
  High process orientation as well as pronounced analytical skills.
  Confident handling of key figures and performance management.
• Leadership personality:
  Authentic, assertive, and motivating leader.
  Experience in leading and developing employees and leadership teams.
  High communication skills and the ability to reconcile different interests.
  Hands-on mentality, decisiveness, and strong implementation skills. Strong team spirit and high cooperation skills in constructive collaboration both at your own site and across sites.
