About the job
For our client, a technically specialised company in the field of industrial automation and control solutions, we are looking for a committed individual as an Automation Engineer Control and Monitoring Technology. In this role, you will develop software for demanding automation projects, accompany their implementation, and successfully commission your solutions at the customer’s site.
- Creation and parameterisation of visualisation and control systems
- Technical implementation of control and automation concepts
- Coordination of software solutions with electrical planning and other engineering departments
- Conducting software tests and simulations before delivery
- Commissioning of the developed control and visualisation solutions at the customer’s site
- Analysis and rectification of errors during commissioning and ongoing operation
- Support in technical clarifications with customers and suppliers
- Further education at HF/FH level
- Sound knowledge in programming PLC controls (e.g. TIA Portal, Rockwell, Beckhoff etc.)
- Independent, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm for new technologies
- Fluent German skills and good French skills

Profile
- Completed technical basic training, e.g. as an electronics technician EFZ, automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ or comparable- Further education at HF/FH level

- Independent, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm for new technologies
