The Vista Alpina Eye Clinic was founded in 2008 by Dr. med. Kristof Vandekerckhove.

In Visp (in the train station building) and in Siders, in close proximity to the train station, the entire range of medical services (except eye surgery, operating room in Visp) is offered.

The Vista Alpina Eye Clinic offers the Valais population a maximum of ophthalmological health services in their home canton. The medical spectrum and the specialist (doctors) team is continuously being expanded. Dr. med. Kristof Vandekerckhove, with over 20,000 cataract surgeries and an annual surgical volume of over 5,000 eye procedures, is among the most experienced surgeons in Switzerland. The complication rate in cataract surgery has always been significantly below the European average.
