Your main area of responsibility includes

Responsibility for achieving purchasing targets, optimizing conditions, margins and savings
Ensuring stable supply chains and high quality of the supplier base
Independent management of defined product groups, including price and contract negotiations
Analysis of market and price developments and derivation of appropriate measures
Ensuring optimal inventory in coordination with logistics
Maintenance and ensuring correct master data and conditions in the ERP system
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the purchasing team
Control and continuous improvement of uniform purchasing processes
Resolution of critical procurement risks

Your profile

You have a commercial or technical basic education and have completed further training in purchasing, e.g. as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, certified purchasing manager or in the field of supply chain management – alternatively a business management training with a strong purchasing focus
You bring several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in the B2B environment, and can demonstrate proven negotiation successes and experience in supplier management
You have a pronounced understanding of costs, margins and markets
You work analytically, understand KPIs and are very confident in handling ERP systems and data
You master price and contract negotiations and recognize leeway as well as hidden price levers, which you use purposefully. You have very good German skills and are negotiation-secure in English
You are a leadership personality with a clear attitude and coaching competence, are assertive, decisive and like to take responsibility
You work structured, pragmatic and keep a cool head even in demanding negotiation situations
