President KESB and Head of the Office for Child and Adult Protection (80 - 100 %)
The Office for Child and Adult Protection with its affiliated Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) is responsible for the enforcement of civil law child and adult protection throughout the canton of Uri. It ensures the protection of children and adults when their welfare or independence is at risk and voluntary assistance is no longer sufficient. The KESB Uri is an interdisciplinary, court-like specialised authority that decides on the legally prescribed protective measures. It is supported by the Clarification and Support division. The Mandate Centre Uri is responsible for the enforcement of the ordered measures.
Due to the retirement of the previous postholder, we are seeking an experienced and engaging leader as President of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) and Head of the Office for Child and Adult Protection (80 - 100 %) from 1 July 2027 or by agreement.
