The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 50,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually.
For our hospital pharmacy, we are looking for a hospital pharmacist 60 - 80 % (m/f) from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.Your tasks
- Ensuring a modern, economical and high-quality supply of medicines within the framework of legal and operational requirements
- Providing drug information and professional advice to doctors, patients and nursing staff
- Depending on interest and suitability, participation in various sub-areas of hospital pharmacy is possible (hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, public pharmacy, central cytostatic preparation)
- Ensuring medication safety throughout the entire medication process from hospital admission to discharge
- Developing and maintaining internal guidelines and quality standards
- Supporting projects to further develop the hospital pharmacy area
Your profile
- Federal diploma as a pharmacist or recognised foreign diploma
- Professional experience in a hospital pharmacy and/or public pharmacy
- Completed further training in hospital pharmacy/clinical pharmacy is an advantage
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with all hospital departments
- Professional competence, communication skills and confident appearance
- High quality and sense of responsibility, reliability, teamwork and resilience
- Process-oriented thinking, independent and structured working style
- Initiative, flexibility and interest in the further development of hospital pharmacy
