Your Tasks as Area Manager

• Overall entrepreneurial responsibility for a region of 3-5 stores in the BL / AG / SO / LU area (with optional extension to Ticino)
• Recruitment, leadership and development of up to 100 employees
• Co-responsibility for store openings
• Evaluation of key figures and initiation of appropriate measures
• Ensuring and continuously revising store processes

Do you already have experience as an Area / District Manager?

You will enter directly into leadership responsibility. After a targeted, individual induction, you will immediately take over the management of your region and actively contribute your experience to our processes.

Are you starting as a Trainee?

We prepare you intensively for the role in a structured 3-stage programme:

• Basic phase: You will be trained in a training store and learn all sales-relevant tasks from the ground up, then take overall responsibility for two stores for 5 weeks each.
• Development phase: In this phase, you will get to know all departments of our goods distribution centre.
• Specialisation phase: You will accompany Area Managers to acquire all necessary knowledge and skills. Afterwards, you will take over overall responsibility for a region as a deputy for 4 weeks.

Your Profile

• Completed studies with a business focus or further training as a federally certified sales manager
• Mobility, resilience and commitment
• High motivation, independence and enjoyment of entrepreneurial action
• Communication skills and an eye for the essentials
• Very good German skills as well as Italian skills (at least B2)

Your professional experience – suitable for your entry:

• For direct entry as Area Manager:
  You have several years of professional and leadership experience in retail – ideally you have already worked successfully as an Area Manager or in a comparable role

• For entry as a Trainee:
  You are at the beginning of your career after graduation. Some practical professional experience in retail is an advantage
