Dietlikon is a growing municipality in the heart of the "glow. das Glattal" region with over 8,000 inhabitants. Its proximity to Zurich, excellent infrastructure, very good public transport connections, and the nearby motorway junction make Dietlikon an attractive place to live and work.
The organisational unit Space, Environment + Transport is responsible within the municipal administration for spatial and transport planning, building and fire police, public transport, as well as environmental protection and waste disposal.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Clerk in the Building Department (40%)
Your Tasks
- Point of contact for information and advice on all matters "around building"
- Reviewing building applications and preparing permits and decisions (for more complex building applications, you will be supported by our municipal engineering office)
- Monitoring approved projects (including simple inspections and on-site checks)
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external specialist offices
- Updating and managing digital building files
- Preparing and following up on meetings of the building authority
Your Profile
- Commercial or technical training
- Work experience in the building department
- Customer- and service-oriented personality with good manners
- Very good oral and written German skills as well as a flair for numbers and technical contexts
- Solid IT skills (Office applications / GemDat and CMI knowledge advantageous)
- Independent, structured, reliable and precise way of working
- Flexible, resilient and a team player
