About the job
This is what you can do with us
- As a chef/cook at USB, you can expect an exciting working environment in a large-scale operation within community catering
- You will learn the proper preparation and cooking of dishes - from purchasing to storage while strictly adhering to hygiene regulations
- You will work in a rotation system in the positions of saucier (meat, sauces), entremetier (side dishes, vegetables, soups), cold kitchen and patisserie
- The diverse needs of our customers as well as a healthy diet are central and important to you
- Contribute to the daily catering of around 700 patients and approximately 2000 meals for employees

- You have completed compulsory schooling (Level A – grade 5 in the subjects Mathematics/German or Level E)
- You enjoy working with food and cooking
- You remain resilient in hectic situations and can organise yourself well
- You have a good sense of taste and smell
- You have robust health (work mainly standing)
- A high awareness of quality and hygiene as well as a sense of order are important to you
- Team and service orientation are a matter of course for you
