Construction Foreman / Site Manager Special Foundation Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Independent management and organisation of construction sites in special foundation engineering from construction preparation to project completion
• Work preparation including equipment and personnel disposition as well as selection and use of suitable special foundation engineering methods (e.g. pile foundations, ground improvements, excavation support, injections)
• Ensuring a smooth construction process (construction management) while adhering to deadlines, costs, quality and occupational safety on site
• Ongoing performance and cost control, site controlling as well as reporting to project or management
• Change order management and assistance with billing (e.g. measurement, construction billing, invoice verification)
• Leadership, instruction and coordination of the site team, site personnel and subcontractors
• Conducting discussions and negotiations with clients, planners, engineering offices, clients and authorities
• Supporting sales and costing in offer processing, cost estimation and pricing in special foundation engineering

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training with appropriate further education (e.g. construction foreman) or degree in civil engineering (civil engineer FH/ETH) with initial practical experience on construction sites
• Practical professional experience in construction, ideally in site management, project management or construction supervision, preferably in special foundation engineering
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Good English skills in spoken and written form are an advantage, as technical documentation and part of the communication within the international group are conducted in English
• Willingness to travel and be present: You will mainly be on our construction sites and projects throughout Switzerland
• Strong organisational talent, independent and structured working style, assertiveness and sense of responsibility
• Customer-oriented manner, communication skills and negotiation skills in dealing with clients, planners and internal interfaces
• French or Italian language skills as well as experience with construction and office software (e.g. MS Office, construction administration or costing programmes) are advantageous
