About the job
Your Tasks
- Independent, practice-oriented treatment of patients according to evidence-based intensive care guidelines. Our clinic covers the entire spectrum of interdisciplinary intensive care medicine – with the exception of transplantation medicine, burn medicine, and cardiac surgery
- Regular participation in bedside teaching as well as interdisciplinary and interprofessional training
- Mentoring and supervision of rotating physicians and specialist assistant physicians
- Participation in the further development of the clinic through active involvement in the creation and optimization of treatment concepts
- Active participation in and supervision of simulation training
- Opportunity to deepen your knowledge in echocardiography (including echo rotation in cardiology) and sonography including obtaining the POCUS competency certificate (FA) from SGUM
- Opportunity to participate in research projects
Your Profile
- Swiss medical diploma or MEBEKO recognition
- Swiss specialist title in intensive care medicine present or submitted, or confirmation of equivalent training by the SGI
- Completed second specialist training (anesthesia or general internal medicine) is an advantage
- Strong independence, high social competence, and very good communication skills
- Teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary, constructive exchange
