In the Outpatient Services department of the Oberengadin Hospital, we are looking for a motivated
Expert NDS Emergency Care (90 - 100 %)
or
Certified Nurse with proven experience in emergency care
Since April 2022, we have moved into the newly renovated emergency department and are an interdisciplinary 24-hour emergency center with 17 treatment places including 1 isolation room, 1 shock room, and 1 plaster room. Patients from the clinics of traumatology, surgery, orthopedics, medicine, pediatrics, ENT, urology, and ophthalmology are cared for.
Your profile
- Degree as Expert NDS Emergency Care or equivalent diploma with Swiss recognition or
- Certified nurse HF/FH with proven professional experience in interdisciplinary emergency care
- Resilient and responsible personality with a high quality awareness
- Precise, independent, and organized way of working
- Teamwork and flexibility (optimal service readiness depending on seasonal workload)
- Appreciative attitude towards patients, relatives, and staff
- German spoken and written, Italian and other languages are an advantage
Your tasks
- Triage of patients according to the Manchester Triage System
- Ensuring professional and appropriately adapted initial care of patients
- Application of various plaster casts
- Striving for an adequate to optimal quality of care within the framework of professional ethical principles considering economic aspects
- Coordination and organization for smooth operation in the emergency department
