About the job

In the Outpatient Services department of the Oberengadin Hospital, we are looking for a motivated

Expert NDS Emergency Care (90 - 100 %)

Certified Nurse with proven experience in emergency care

Since April 2022, we have moved into the newly renovated emergency department and are an interdisciplinary 24-hour emergency center with 17 treatment places including 1 isolation room, 1 shock room, and 1 plaster room. Patients from the clinics of traumatology, surgery, orthopedics, medicine, pediatrics, ENT, urology, and ophthalmology are cared for.

Your profile

Degree as Expert NDS Emergency Care or equivalent diploma with Swiss recognition or
Certified nurse HF/FH with proven professional experience in interdisciplinary emergency care
Resilient and responsible personality with a high quality awareness
Precise, independent, and organized way of working
Teamwork and flexibility (optimal service readiness depending on seasonal workload)
Appreciative attitude towards patients, relatives, and staff
German spoken and written, Italian and other languages are an advantage

Your tasks

Triage of patients according to the Manchester Triage System
Ensuring professional and appropriately adapted initial care of patients
Application of various plaster casts
Striving for an adequate to optimal quality of care within the framework of professional ethical principles considering economic aspects
Coordination and organization for smooth operation in the emergency department
