Swisslinx is seeking a GenAI Engineer specialising in Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for a renowned client in the financial services sector.

GenAI Engineer

Job description:

• Development, implementation and evaluation of robust, production-ready GenAI and RAG solutions
• Technical design and implementation of new AI use cases as well as continuous optimisation of existing applications
• Building, deployment and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and APIs
• Integration of AI models and inference services into enterprise systems
• Automation of testing, deployments and iterative validation processes
• Monitoring, tracing and tuning of productive GenAI solutions
• Contributing to the development of reusable platform and self-service components
• Close collaboration with data scientists, business engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps teams and business units

About the customer:

In this demanding role, you will develop and optimise productive RAG applications and support new GenAI use cases from technical conception to stable operation. At the same time, you will contribute to the expansion of a GenAI platform that enables efficient and reusable implementation of further use cases.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in developing and operating productive GenAI solutions
• Solid understanding of RAG, prompt engineering and context engineering
• Excellent programming skills in Python as well as experience with Bash or PowerShell
• Extensive cloud experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure
• Practical experience with services such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, App Service or Container Apps, or comparable cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD, API development, test automation and automated deployments
• Knowledge of LLM tracing, LLMOps and evaluation of GenAI applications
• Experience with LangChain, Langfuse or comparable frameworks
• Structured, collaborative working style in interdisciplinary teams
• Experience with Java, Spring or Spring AI is an advantage
• Excellent German and English skills
