The ZFV Enterprises cooperative (ZFV) creates inspiring meeting places together with partners, delights with hospitality and authentic experiences. Founded in 1894 by visionary Zurich citizen women, ZFV still places special emphasis on innovation and sustainability today. In over 200 establishments throughout Switzerland, ZFV employees take care of the needs of customers and guests. Areas of activity include restaurants, canteens, staff restaurants, hotels, mobile catering solutions, catering, bakeries, and daycare centers. The Pionier restaurant in the AXA Superblock in Winterthur consists of a public self-service restaurant with 334 indoor and 114 outdoor seats as well as a cafeteria with 266 seats. 700 guests are served here daily. In addition, four daycare centers and an external operation in the region are supplied, various caterings are carried out, and the gastronomy rooms are made available for special events. Fresh food is cooked on site with regional, ecologically sensible, and fairly traded products.
