We build and maintain the roads so that they remain intact tomorrow! Maintenance District 9 in Wila, with its 28 employees, is responsible for the upkeep of around 180 km of state roads and 80 km of cycle paths as well as 80 km of hiking trails. Would you like to lend a hand in the Wila depot in the Illnau/Effretikon maintenance group in road maintenance? We are looking for reinforcement for our team.
Your Tasks
- You ensure with your commitment that our state roads, pedestrian and cycle paths are functional and safe, from greenery maintenance to the repair of Zurich hiking trails
- You carry out minor structural repairs and maintenance work
- You work with various vehicles, equipment and modern machines
- You assist in winter service and ensure safe roads and paths even in snow and ice
- You provide on-call service and are deployed outside regular working hours if necessary
Your Profile
- You have training as a skilled operational maintenance professional EFZ or a comparable manual training
- You enjoy being outdoors and pitch in energetically – in all weather conditions
- You work flexibly and reliably. Night or weekend shifts are also manageable for you
- You hold a category C/CE driving licence or are willing to obtain one
- You can reach the Wila depot within 30 minutes
