Apprentice Training Specialist for automation technicians (M/F)
Work location: Martigny
Your mission:
As a specialist in the training of automation apprentices, you are the reference person for the practical and theoretical training of automation apprentices and electrical installers. You ensure the delivery and follow-up by meeting the company's objectives and the obligations of vocational training.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and train apprentices in the technical field while respecting the procedures of the quality, environment, and safety system.
- Periodically monitor and evaluate the results of apprentices in accordance with the company's requirements and vocational training.
- Participate in the recruitment of future apprentices with the help of the training manager.
- Ensure your continuous training by proposing and/or following the necessary training for your activity and participate in meetings and seminars of associations dealing with apprentice training (FocusMem, SwissMem, etc…).
- Replace the training manager for the management and allocation of hours, absences, and allowances.
- Conduct maintenance operations of the training center and central workshops in strict compliance with the legal and safety requirements imposed by HYDRO.
- Ensure the safety of individuals by controlling the adequate use of machines and protective equipment.
Your skills:
- CFC of automation technician with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional practice
- Certificate of apprenticeship master or training certificate in the company, an asset
- Proven experience in programming Siemens controllers
- Aptitude to work in a team and to share knowledge
- Experience in supporting groups of young people, an asset
- Ability to handle temporary work overloads
