At the outpatient clinic of the Women’s Hospital, we offer a position immediately or by arrangement with a workload of 80-100%
Medical Practice Assistant (MPA)
If you also want to make a difference in people’s lives, these are your tasks:
- Organisation and administrative handling of practice reception, patient admission and appointment management
- Vocational training for MPA trainees desirable
- Receiving and processing telephone calls and emails
- Laboratory work, venous blood sampling, administering infusions and injections
- Preparation and follow-up of consultation rooms as well as consultation assistance
- Service recording, sending reports, prescriptions and insurance enquiries, scanning documents, as well as maintaining digital medical records
Become part of the Department of Women’s, Children’s and Obstetric Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. Our outpatient services include the outpatient clinic of the Women’s Hospital at the Zollikerberg site as well as the women’s on-call service at the Stadelhofen site. The offer is complemented by our Centre for Integrative, Complementary Medicine & TCM. Here we especially support patients with chronic illnesses and complaints and offer complementary medical treatments alongside conventional medical therapies.

This is how you convince us:
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant, preferably with some professional experience
- Interest in further training as a vocational trainer is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology as well as proficient PC skills
- Completed vocational trainer course or SVEB certificate or willingness to complete one of these
- Willingness to care for our patients sometimes on weekends/public holidays or during evening consultations
- Respectful and friendly interaction with our patients is a matter of course as well as maintaining an overview in hectic situations
