Experienced Production Mechanic with Federal VET Diploma

Desired profile:

• Federal VET Diploma as a production mechanic or equivalent training
• Several years of proven experience in precision machining on conventional and/or CNC machines
• Experience in watchmaking, microtechnology or high-precision mechanics environment
• Knowledge of CAM and manufacturing process optimisation is an advantage
• Excellent mastery of technical drawing reading and metrology
• Ease in setting, starting up and monitoring production on machining centres
• Good knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools and mechanical manufacturing techniques
• Ability to control the quality of produced parts and to adjust settings when necessary
• Developed technical sense and strong interest in modern industrial environments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams
• Driving licence (category B) and vehicle, an advantage

• Carry out precision mechanical parts machining using conventional machines and CNC machining centres
• Perform settings, start-ups and production monitoring of manufacturing equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manufacturing sequences and production documents
• Participate in simple programming and optimisation of CNC machines in collaboration with technical teams
• Ensure production monitoring and make necessary setting corrections to guarantee part conformity
• Check dimensions, tolerances and quality of components using standard measuring instruments
• Perform assembly, fitting or finishing operations as required by production
• Participate in first-level maintenance of equipment and ensure proper functioning of installations
• Apply quality, safety and continuous improvement procedures in force within the company
