For an established and non-profit housing cooperative with over 500 apartments in the city of Zurich, we are looking for a committed and entrepreneurial-minded individual as 

Head of Office of a Housing Cooperative (90 – 100 %) 

Start: 1 March 2027 or by arrangement 

Your task 

You will lead the office with currently three employees and ensure that operational management and strategic development work effectively together. In doing so, you will work closely with the board and actively shape the future of the cooperative. 

 Your main tasks include: 

• Leading and further developing the office and the team 

• Preparing board matters and implementing resolutions 

• Responsibility for finance, controlling as well as financial and liquidity planning 

• Developing decision-making bases for strategic issues 

• Leading and supporting organisational and digitalisation projects 

• Maintaining a sustainable network with partners, authorities and institutions 

Your profile 

You combine business management expertise with leadership skills and a sensitivity for people and organisations. 

 You bring with you: 

• Several years of leadership and professional experience with overall responsibility 

• Commercial or business management training, ideally supplemented by further education in finance 

• Sound knowledge in financial planning, accounting and controlling 

• Strategic thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style 

• High social competence, communication skills and reliability 

• Enjoyment in driving developments forward and shaping change processes 

• Knowledge of non-profit housing construction is welcome but not essential.
