REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with spinal cord injury, brain injury, and related conditions following accidents or illness.

Our primary goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We successfully provide both initial and follow-up rehabilitation.

The clinic has 110 beds and an outpatient service. Around 660 employees implement the vision and values of REHAB Basel in their daily work.

At REHAB Basel, you work in a unique building in the attractive tri-border area of Switzerland, France, and Germany.

For our team in the Psychological Service, we are seeking a psychotherapist at 60% - 80% workload as a fixed-term replacement for pregnancy and maternity leave from 15 October 2026 or by arrangement, with the option of a permanent position until the end of April 2027.

Your responsibilities:

• Psychotherapy for people with spinal cord injury and/or brain injury
• Support for relatives
• Support for treatment teams
• Representation of the Psychological Service within the interprofessional team

Your profile:

• Advanced or completed psychotherapy training
• Psychotherapy in German and ideally also in French
• High degree of independence, transparent communication, resilience, and ability to work interprofessionally
• Interest in working with physically ill people
• Experience and interests in psycho-oncology, palliative psychology, ethics are welcomed (but not required)
