Your Tasks
- Holistic care and support of geriatric patients (m/f/d) with multimorbid conditions
- Promotion of mobility and independence, e.g., through fall prevention and provision of aids
- Support with activities of daily living (ADL) in the sense of activating care
- Implementation of professional pain and medication management considering age-related particularities
- Professional handling of dementia and delirium as well as application of validating communication techniques
- Close interdisciplinary cooperation with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and social services
- Careful and professional nursing documentation according to applicable standards
Your Profile
- Completed training as a geriatric nurse (m/f/d), health and nursing professional (m/f/d), nursing specialist (m/f/d), or nursing professional (m/f/d)
- Interest in the advanced training ZERCUR Geriatrics – possibility for part-time further education
- Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and empathy in dealing with patients (m/f/d) and relatives
- Independent and structured way of working
- Empathy, sensitivity, and awareness in geriatric care
