The Social Directorate provides services in the areas of child and adult protection and social assistance for the city of Burgdorf and the surrounding municipalities of Ersigen, Hasle b. Burgdorf, and Oberburg.

Your tasks
You provide individual social assistance services according to legal regulations. You advise clients on personal, financial, and legal matters, promote professional and social integration, and refer them to appropriate specialist agencies.
Your profile
You have a tertiary degree in social work and ideally several years of professional experience in statutory social work. You enjoy working independently and in a team. You are familiar with IT applications in case management (KLIB) and MS Office.
