Your new role
As our new Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be part of our Project Development & Advisory Team in Germany. You will take on a key role as an expert and work together with a team of onshore wind energy specialists on projects on behalf of our national and international clients. Our projects are diverse and we advise both established and new market participants, investors, financing banks and operators, covering a wide range of services as well as potential combinations with other technologies, such as Power-to-X, where we draw on Ramboll’s broad expertise.

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities in projects of different complexity and scale.
Your main tasks will include:
- Responsibility and management of the timely, economical and qualitative realisation of national and international onshore wind energy projects (new build, repowering, decommissioning) taking into account regulatory requirements and contractual frameworks
- Overall project management for all trades, including planning and coordination/interface management of construction processes, subcontractors and other client consultants
- Contract, change order and risk management and troubleshooting as well as budget control for all trades
- Preparation, monitoring and updating of schedules
- Leading, documenting and tracking project deadlines
- Tendering and awarding management as well as contract negotiations and management of awarding processes for construction services and WTG contracts
- Main contact person for clients, all project participants and Ramboll colleagues, active stakeholder management
- Preparation of well-founded decision templates as well as ongoing advice and close exchange with the client
- Ramboll-internal quality assurance, budget and resource planning and control, contract management
- Technical and operational interface between planning and implementation, professional leadership of a multi-member project team
- Creation and review of documentation, reporting
About you
- Successfully completed studies in a relevant field; Master’s degree or other higher qualification preferred
- Alternatively, relevant and several years (at least 5 years) of professional experience in project management of onshore wind energy projects and basic technical understanding in energy, plant or construction fields
- Experience in the realisation of wind farms or other complex renewable energy sources as well as in coordinating executing companies and external service providers
- Good knowledge of planning and approval law as well as regulatory frameworks is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Project and all standard office products
- Ideally experience with AutoCAD, ArcGis and tendering software
- Independent, proactive and structured working style
- Strong oral and written communication skills and an eye for analytical and convincing presentations
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to attend external appointments (approx. 20%) and driving licence class B
