About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in the five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. For our long-term care at the Oberi Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for 150 residents, we are looking for an honest, open-minded and cheerful personality from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Progressive care and support of our residents within the key worker system

Managing orders, answering telephone calls, organising appointments, handling correspondence for the residential group

Work shifts in early and late duty

Your Profile

Health/Care Specialist EFZ or equivalent SRK recognition

Independent, committed, resilient and responsible

At least 1 year of professional experience

Experience and enjoyment in working with people with dementia

Good PC user skills

Very good oral and written German skills
