More about us
PFIFFNER Schaltgeräte AG is a company of the PFIFFNER Group specialising in high-quality solutions for the safe transmission and distribution of electrical energy. The origin of our switchgear goes back to the Swiss ALPHA Elektrotechnik AG – a legacy of over 90 years of experience in the development and production of high and medium voltage disconnectors. An expansion of competencies in medium and low voltage will be offered by the acquisition of the business field "Electrical Switches & Connectors" from R&S Group Holding AG in Sissach, at the beginning of 2026.
Our disconnectors are known worldwide for their efficiency and reliability and are used in demanding environments where a constant and safe energy supply is crucial. At the same time, we are expanding our portfolio with a new F-gas-free circuit breaker with a GWP < 1, which is being developed in Hirschthal and sets new technological standards in the energy sector.
