About the job

• Responsible for integrating and operating a marketing software for battery storage systems (BESS) within the trading system landscape and implementing it.
• Further develop, maintain, and operate the backend and frontend of the in-house developed short-term trading platform.
• Model and optimise the short-term deployment of virtual power plants (BESS and hydro-pumped storage).
• Design and develop algorithmic trading strategies and trading tools, data-based models, and automation solutions.
• Actively shape and deepen cross-departmental collaboration with other specialists.

• You convince with your experience in the energy trading environment, ideally with the use of BESS or hydropower plants.
• You hold a completed Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable field.
• You have experience in software development and possess strong programming skills in JavaScript or other programming languages.
• You enjoy shaping the future hands-on in a fast-paced business field with innovative solutions.
• You communicate fluently in German or English and have a good understanding of the other language. French is an additional plus.
