Chief Financial Officer CFO (m/f/d)

The company operates in technically demanding project business and benefits from long-term growth trends, especially from the expansion of AI infrastructure. The project portfolio ranges from smaller plants to complex large-scale projects.

The position offers the opportunity to develop from an operational finance leadership role into a comprehensive CFO role. It combines operational finance responsibility with contract management, digitalisation and IT. We are not looking for a personality who only controls and delegates, but someone who likes to get involved professionally, takes responsibility and actively shapes the further development of the company.

Your task

You take overall responsibility for finance, controlling and IT and lead a small team. Your main areas include:

• Finance & Accounting: Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements, consolidation, financial planning and reporting
• Controlling & Cash Management: Management of liquidity, working capital, project evaluations and project controlling
• Contract Management: Financial and commercial assessment of demanding customer and project contracts
• Systems & Digitalisation: Professional responsibility for SAP Business One as well as further development and automation of financial and business processes
• Technology & AI: Identification and implementation of meaningful digitalisation solutions and AI applications
• Corporate Development: Participation in strategic projects as well as occasionally in M&A and investment topics

You are not only a sparring partner for management but also work on solutions and their implementation where necessary.

Your profile

You have a degree as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant and ideally have gained several years of operational experience in corporate financial management after your work in auditing. Particularly interesting are personalities who are currently working, for example, as Head of Finance, Finance Director or Senior Finance Manager and are looking for the next step into comprehensive CFO responsibility.

What you bring:

• Sound knowledge in accounting, financial statement preparation and consolidation
• Experience in an industrial environment, ideally with project business and project evaluation
• Good commercial understanding and interest in demanding contract and project topics
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One
• High affinity for digitalisation, automation and new technologies
• Independent, structured and pragmatic working style with a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English skills
