Logistics / Retail Employee with Interest in
Educational Work (60%)
As part of our team in Hochdorf, you will be co-responsible for goods receipt, quality control, and collection of donated goods. In the second-hand shop, you support us with your customer orientation and sales-promoting product presentations. We count on your high social competence and strong sense of responsibility when it comes to collaborating with and guiding our program participants in logistics and retail, as well as taking on deputy tasks during the absence of the site managers.
The varied range of tasks includes practical duties such as assembling and disassembling furniture, minor repairs, designing sales areas, and actively selling second-hand items. You will collect donated goods with a 3.5-ton vehicle (manual transmission – driving license category B), together with our participants, and store them properly. Your planning skills and customer-oriented thinking come into play when organizing and implementing the collection of donated goods and coordinating work assignments.
You will be able to take on these tasks successfully and with enjoyment if you bring experience from retail and have developed your manual skills through appropriate vocational training. Ideally, you have already gained experience in guiding participants in integration programs and are ready to engage and develop in the work-educational environment. Very good German language skills (min. C1) are a requirement for correct communication (oral/written).
Our shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday. We count on your flexibility also in scheduling. We are an upbeat, committed team where everyone takes responsibility. Of course, we look forward to you actively contributing and adding to the positive working atmosphere.
Our organization is undergoing a transformation from a rather hierarchical leadership understanding to a role-based collaboration. This means for you as a potential employee that you can take on interesting additional tasks and gain new experiences. For all of us, it means we are in a phase of change and must endure the associated uncertainties for a certain time. In return, we are all involved in introducing a – and we are convinced – future-proof form of collaboration that offers plenty of room for participation and design.
We offer you a dynamic working environment, an open working climate in a motivated team, and attractive social benefits.
