Head of Finance (m/f/d)
Role:
For an innovative company in the energy and infrastructure sector in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced finance professional with broad entrepreneurial understanding. The role combines overall responsibility for accounting with project controlling, planning, and the management of selected central services across several companies.
What distinguishes this role
Key role with direct collaboration with the CFO and technical departments
Responsibility for several companies in Switzerland and Germany
Combination of finance, project management and investment controlling
High degree of freedom to shape structures, processes and internal controls
Participation in the implementation of a new ERP landscape
Future-oriented environment within the energy industry
Responsibilities:
Overall management of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting
Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), German Commercial Code (HGB) and Swiss GAAP FER
Management of budget, forecast, liquidity as well as project and investment costs
Handling VAT and tax matters for Swiss and German companies
Coordination of audits, banks, fiduciary as well as compliance and risk issues
Participation in the introduction of SAP Business ByDesign and further development of finance processes
Qualifications:
Higher education in finance, accounting or controlling at FH/university level or equivalent
Several years of experience in a broadly responsible finance function, ideally with leadership experience
Very good knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), German Commercial Code (HGB) and Swiss GAAP FER
Experience with budgeting, project controlling, liquidity planning and VAT
Experience in ERP implementations; knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign is especially welcome
Very good German and English skills as well as a strong interest in technical and project-oriented business models
