Job Description

Your Mission 
As a Vocational Training Officer HR (maternity cover) in our Talent & Organisational Development Team – a central part of the HR department – you will significantly shape the apprenticeship at SMG, be the hub for this topic, and support our youngest talents.

You will work cross-functionally in a dynamic, international SMG team of Explorers in Switzerland, Serbia, Vietnam, France, Germany, and India – where creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning are at the center.

Specifically, you will work on the following tasks:

• Planning, execution, and coordination of apprenticeships at our locations in Fribourg and Zurich
• Support and promotion of our apprentices in the professions of IT, media technology, and commercial clerk – in close cooperation with vocational and practical trainers
• Implementation and rollout of the new apprentice concept as well as continuous improvement
• Responsible for competence-oriented training of our future specialists and responsible for coordinating deployment planning
• Development and expansion of internal training offers for apprentices
• Close exchange with practical trainers to ensure training quality
• Support of apprentices in project work and events
• You ensure that our apprentices are visible in the company and feel fully supported. Make our young Explorers shine!

Qualifications

You bring the following:

• Commercial basic education with HR further training or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, organizational psychology, business administration)
• Completed training as a vocational trainer
• 2-3 years of experience in supporting apprentices and developing training programs
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2)
• Passion for promoting young talents and shaping future-oriented vocational training
• Independent, structured working style and strong communication skills
• Joy and passion for supporting and developing apprentices purposefully
• Willingness to commute between Zurich and Fribourg
