YOUR FUTURE WORK ENVIRONMENT
The nursing homes of Meyrin – the Pierre de la Fée Residence and the Jura Residence – are two human-sized establishments, recognized for their quality of support, organizational stability and a philosophy centered on the elderly person. YOUR MISSION
As Head of Care, you are an executive manager and guarantee the quality, safety and humanity of the services provided within the two residences. Your responsibilities are organized around five axes.
1. Strategic management & governance
– Ensure the quality of care 24/7, in compliance with standards, guidelines and protocols.
– Develop, plan and supervise the organization of care.
– Actively participate in the executive committee and institutional projects.
2. Resident care & family liaison
– Guarantee individualized, adapted and interdisciplinary care.
– Work closely with attending and consulting physicians.
– Ensure clear, caring and regular communication with caregivers.
3. Management & human resources
– Supervise, support and evaluate IRUS and care teams.
– Manage recruitment, integration, continuing education and internships.
– Foster a positive and collaborative professional climate.
4. Administrative and operational management
– Contribute to budget development and ensure efficient resource management.
– Plan equipment and logistical needs.
– Ensure regulatory compliance and safety (MSST, hygiene, ergonomics).
5. Quality development & innovation
– Implement management tools (dashboards, analyses, indicators).
– Strengthen cross-functional processes: nutrition, support, PLEASURE, DIR.
– Propose continuous improvements and encourage reflective practices.
Profile sought
PROFILE SOUGHT
– Bachelor-level nursing degree (HES) or recognized equivalent.
– Additional training in management, team leadership, or CAS/DAS in socio-sanitary institution management (an asset).
– Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in team management in the care field, ideally in nursing homes or geriatrics.
– In-depth knowledge of Swiss and Geneva legal and regulatory framework (LSP, LEPS, ASSM guidelines, accreditation standards, FEGEMS CCT, etc.).
– Mastery of planning tools, computerized care records and quality indicators.
– Excellent clinical knowledge and strong sense of quality and safety in care.
– Ability to coordinate interprofessional work and support teams.
– Collaborative leadership, easy communication and sense of priorities.
– Field proximity: resident-centered, active presence in services.
– Ability to work closely with Management, IRUS and internal services.
– Committed, structured, reliable person with a high level of professionalism.
