Since 1926, the owner-managed family business OLWO has developed into a central production, trading, and service company in the Swiss timber industry.

For our sawmill in Worb, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an interested and motivated individual as

Sawmill Operator (100%) 

You can expect a responsible and varied role in a well-coordinated team of three within a modern industrial production environment.

What you can achieve

• Demand-oriented material supply to the production facilities as well as professional storage of the processed material using the side loader
• Operation and monitoring of the new sorting system for sawn timber
• Use of modern scanner technology to identify and assess wood characteristics
• Processing orders in the ERP system
• Maintenance and regular servicing of our production equipment

How you can impress us

• You are a certified wood industry specialist (EFZ) or have another craft or technical basic training in the timber sector
• Passion for working with wood and handling modern tools
• Good knowledge of German
• You are characterised by self-responsibility, conscientiousness, and a quick grasp
• You are a proactive, team-oriented personality
