As part of a succession arrangement due to a retirement, we are looking for an experienced concrete plant operator for our concrete plant in Affoltern am Albis, who understands their craft and enjoys taking responsibility. Someone who thinks ahead, acts independently, and finds good and pragmatic solutions even in situations that are not specified down to the last detail.

Your main workplace is Affoltern am Albis. At the same time, we appreciate your flexibility to support our teams in Unterengstringen or Merenschwand if needed.

• You independently operate and control our concrete plant and ensure reliable production according to recipe specifications.
• You keep an eye on the quality of our products and ensure that the end result meets our customers’ expectations.
• You monitor ongoing production and respond independently and solution-oriented to disruptions or deviations.
• You are the first point of contact for our customers at the counter.
• You ensure that the required concrete additives are available in good time.
• You take care of the maintenance, servicing, and upkeep of the concrete and rail loading plant.
• You pitch in wherever needed – even outside the actual concrete production.
• If necessary, you support our concrete plants in Unterengstringen or Merenschwand.

• You have several years of experience as a concrete plant operator and sound knowledge of concrete production.
• You understand the technology behind a concrete plant and know what matters in daily operations.
• You think ahead, recognise the need for action, and do not wait for every next step to be prescribed to you.
• You work reliably and professionally and make decisions in the interest of the company.
• You enjoy taking responsibility and can handle situations where there is no process or instruction for every scenario.
• You feel comfortable in a down-to-earth and straightforward SME environment.
• You are flexible, uncomplicated, and enjoy working with different people.
• Good German language skills are required; MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
