For summer 2027, one of the popular apprenticeships as
Automotive Specialist "Passenger Car Direction"
is available again. We offer a reliable, motivated and young individual a comprehensive and exciting training in the automotive industry.
The training
Perform service and repair work independently as well as simple diagnostic work on passenger cars: As an Automotive Specialist with a Federal Certificate of Competence (Eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis, EFZ), you ensure that vehicles are safe and reliable on the road. You work on the engine, chassis, brakes, steering, drive train as well as on electrical and electronic systems and carry out maintenance work according to manufacturer specifications. The driving test is also part of the training. The basic training lasts a total of three years. To complement professional practice and school education, inter-company courses are part of the training. More information can be found at www.autoberufe.ch and www.agvs.ch.
Your profile
For this versatile training, you need a completed district or secondary school education. Good performance in mathematics as well as technical understanding are advantageous. Particularly helpful are elective subjects such as mathematics, computer science, English or technical design. In addition, you need to have passed the aptitude test organised by the AGVS sections. You are reliable, motivated and work carefully and precisely. If you also bring manual skills, interest in vehicle technology and team spirit, you are exactly right with us.
If you have any questions, our training manager, Mr David Bucher, will be happy to assist you at 041 784 30 30. Our team will competently, reliably and securely accompany you on your career path. We would be pleased to get to know you during a trial apprenticeship and give you first insights into our company and your desired profession.
Do you feel addressed? Then we look forward to receiving your complete application documents including a photo and the AGVS classification test, which you should send to Ms Cornelia Steiner by email at cornelia.steiner@imholz-autohaus.ch.
