About the job
Main Responsibilities:
- Independently and professionally carry out the preventive maintenance and repair orders stored in SAP-PM on the production lines
- Report completed maintenance orders fully back in SAP-PM – including working hours, materials used, technical findings and measures taken
- Support the Maintenance Coordinator in preparing, triggering, adjusting and maintaining orders in SAP-PM as well as in work preparation
- Actively contribute your technical expertise to jointly further develop, optimise existing maintenance tasks with the AR team and define new maintenance standards
- Support the execution of Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and FMEAs with your technical expertise and knowledge of the plant condition
- Assist in the introduction and application of Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) – e.g. vibration analyses, temperature monitoring – through data collection and feedback
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (LoTo, work permits) and quality/hygiene requirements (HACCP, GMP) during all maintenance work
- Identify deviations, signs of wear and improvement potentials during maintenance work and communicate these proactively
- Actively participate in the implementation of IL6S methods (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma): Progressive Maintenance, standardised workflows and preventive maintenance strategies
- Take responsibility for the complete and timely processing of maintenance orders on your assigned production lines and ensure that all measures are carried out according to plan and standard
- Actively and purposefully support the training of production staff to ensure the transfer from Preventive Maintenance (PM) to Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and promote the independent execution of basic tasks by production
Qualifications:
- Completed technical training (mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics or comparable)
- Several years of professional experience in maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial environment, ideally in the food industry
- Practical experience in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance work on production equipment
- Knowledge of SAP-PM (order processing, feedback, fault reports); willingness to develop into a key user
- Understanding of quality and hygiene standards in the food industry (HACCP, GMP)
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations (LoTo, risk assessments, work permits)
- Willingness to actively shape and further develop maintenance strategies and standards
- PC skills (MS Office, SAP-PM)
- Good knowledge of the German language
- Structured, responsible and careful way of working
- Teamwork skills and strong communication willingness; ability to convey technical expertise clearly and collaborate across departments
