About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for about 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. In addition, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For the hospitality department at the Cantonal Hospital, we are looking for you from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as a Room Service staff member.
Room Service Staff
What Awaits You
- Care and accompaniment of patients from admission to discharge
- Taking orders for all meals as well as advising on menus and diet types
- Serving and clearing meals as well as providing assistance if needed
- Errands for patients
- Administrative tasks such as orders and documentation
- Working days are Monday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 1:24 pm and 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm
What You Bring to Us
- Completed training in hospitality, catering or housekeeping (EFZ/EBA) with professional experience in hospitality and gastronomy
- Experience in healthcare as well as in dealing with people who require support
- Experience with Sanalogic desirable
- Solid PC user skills
- Very good German language skills
- Reliable, responsible and service-oriented
