Job Description

• Responsibility for mechanical engineering within the scope of new build and refurbishment projects of logistics facilities
• Independent technical project management of assigned tasks within the projects
• Preparation of tender documents, calculation and submission of offers
• Planning, coordination and technical support of assembly teams during the implementation phase
• Ensuring compliance with Swisslog project processes and quality standards as well as active participation in shaping and optimising the processes
• Accompanying customer projects on site - from the current state analysis through solution definition to successful commissioning
• Creation of various construction assemblies and solution concepts using CAD software
• Coordination with internal and external specialist departments and project participants

Applicant Profile

• Completed training as a mechanic, polymechanic or similar
• Technical further education in project management or business administration
• Experience in project management in the field of machine or plant construction
• Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite (including PowerPoint, MS Project) as well as basic knowledge of 3D CAD (AutoCAD Inventor)
• A high willingness to learn and quick comprehension complete your profile as well as an independent and well-organised working style
• Good German and English skills; French is an advantage
• Willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
