The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.For our Public Pharmacy, we are looking for a pharmacist from May 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Optimal care of our patients at hospital discharge within the framework of pharmaceutical discharge management
- Ensuring a seamless and safe transition to outpatient primary care
- Validation, optimization, and monitoring of drug therapies across a broad treatment spectrum
- Competent pharmaceutical advice for our outpatient patients
- Close collaboration with physicians and nursing staff, providing expert information and contributing pharmaceutical expertise in therapy decisions
- Administration of vaccinations
- Support of innovative projects for continuous development
- Pharmaceutical care of external institutions
- Saturday shifts on a rotation basis
Your Profile
- Federal diploma as a pharmacist (or recognized foreign diploma)
- Professional experience in a public pharmacy is desirable
- Further training in clinical pharmacy is an advantage
- High quality and responsibility awareness, reliability, teamwork, and resilience
- Professional competence, communication skills, and confident demeanor
- Joy and interest in clinical pharmacy and interprofessional collaboration with all hospital departments
