Metalworker/Plant Mechanic (m/f/d)

This is what you do...

• Carry out repairs, overhauls, and maintenance work on technically demanding recycling and operational plants
• Perform all locksmith, assembly, and repair work on our operational plants
• Implement extensions and modifications on existing as well as new plants according to technical specifications and in cooperation with engineering
• Actively support the annual shredder and plant overhauls
• Perform professional welding work as well as conventional machining such as turning, drilling, and milling
• Take care of the maintenance and upkeep of machines, vehicles, containers, and building parts
• Manufacture mechanical spare and wear parts independently
• Take over the recording, inspection, and maintenance of empty containers
• Analyse mechanical faults and ensure a quick and sustainable resolution

This is what you bring with you...

• A completed apprenticeship as a mechanic (vehicle, machine, or polymechanic), mechatronics technician, or metalworker
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of complex industrial plants
• Good knowledge and practical experience in welding, turning, milling, and locksmith work
• Good pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
• A forklift licence as well as a construction machinery and/or lorry licence are advantageous
• Good German language skills in spoken form
• Convincing communication skills, friendly demeanour, and reliable nature
