Student Support - Finance (60-80%)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, goal-oriented and committed individual for our dynamic Finance team in Liechtenstein. In this role, you will be part of the Finance and Group Accounting team at LGT Capital Partners and work closely with other controllers and accountants at various locations (including Switzerland, Ireland, Hong Kong, New York) in an international environment. Your conceptual, precise and analytical way of working will contribute to solving future projects and challenges. You can expect a motivated team operating in a work environment characterised by flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths, where you can actively contribute.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Support with risk controlling tasks such as capital adequacy and other reporting;
• Participation in the development, implementation and maintenance of financial processes, such as the internal control system (ICS);
• Support in monitoring and analysing FX risks as well as collaboration on various projects in the area of corporate finance & risk;
• Communication with various stakeholders worldwide (investment controllers, accountants, controllers and auditors);
• Participation in projects to further develop financial applications and processes and to promote collaboration with our colleagues;
• Assistance in the monthly closing for the consolidation of the LGT Capital Partners Group as well as in the preparation of the annual report.

This Student Support position is designed as a full-time role during semester breaks and allows a flexible workload of 2-3 days per week during the semester.

Thus, we offer an exciting opportunity for students who want to work for at least 1.5 years, ideally longer, during their studies.

Requirements

• Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on finance, banking or similar;
• Strong interest in the financial sector and asset management;
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken;
• Numerical flair and good IT user skills, especially in Excel;
• High attention to detail combined with organisational skills;
• Motivated team player combined with a personable and open personality.
