About the job

This is where you will apply your energy:

• Recording and documenting existing production processes
• Observing production lines and recording interruptions
• Conversations with production staff and shift supervisors
• Systematic recording and categorisation of causes of downtime
• Analysis of frequency, duration and impact of production interruptions
• Conducting evaluations and Pareto analyses
• Identifying the main causes of loss
• Developing improvement proposals to reduce downtime
• Estimating benefits, effort and savings potential of measures
• Presenting results and recommendations to management

How you can impress us:

• Ongoing studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, business administration, logistics or a comparable field
• Interest in production processes and their optimisation
• Analytical and structured way of thinking
• Independent working style and initiative
• Confident use of Excel and data analysis
• Enjoyment in exchanging ideas with staff from production and engineering
